Lil Wayne has a lot to celebrate after the long wait for his Tha Carter V album, which is now platinum. Mack Maine, president of Young Money, made the announcement on Instagram.
He wrote, "Prayed for this day for my brother for the past 5 years! Congrats brodie and thank you to every producer, featured artist, every fan/supporter, Republic, Young Money Team, DJs, Radio, and anyone who played any part in helping make this project a success! Love to love!"
Wayne reposted the same announcement and wrote, "THANK YOU!!" to all of his fans.
