Update 11/15/2018: Birdman is asking a judge to throw out Tyga's $10 million lawsuit over royalties, claiming that Tyga breached his deal. Tyga claims Cash Money refused to pay him royalties for Careless World and Hotel California after he left the label in 2016.

Birdman is also claiming that Tyga waited too long to file his lawsuit and the statute of limitations has passed. In addition to his request to throw out the case, Birdman also wants Tyga to pay his legal fees.

Original 10/06/2018:

According to a report that surfaced, Birdman is looking to settle a $10 million lawsuit filed by Tyga where the rapper accused the mogul of ripping him off for millions of dollars.

Tyga filed the suit earlier this year against Young Money Records and Cash Money Records, and accused the label of not paying him royalties owed for his albums ‘Hotel California’ and ‘Careless World’ after he left the label in 2016.

Documents that surfaced noted that Birdman and Cash Money asked for an extension to respond to the lawsuit on October 1. Birdman and his team allege that Tyga agreed to extending “time to facilitate ongoing settlement discussions.”
