While the NFL season is in full swing, there still remains many former football fans who have opted out of watching any games. Whether people have a sense of trepidation about the game in relation to CTE or if it's regarding the league's stance on player protests and the status of former QB Colin Kaepernick. One famous comedian cites the latter as his reason for skipping out on the NFL this season and for the foreseeable future. 

Dave Chappelle spoke with TMZ on Sunday and was asked if he'd be watching any NFL games that evening. Chappelle firmly stated "I don't watch the NFL," before taking a knee as a sign of solidarity with Kaepernick and his cause.
