According to multiple reports, NBC has canceled Megyn Kelly Today following the controversy surrounding her comments about blackface.
During Tuesday's show, Kelly stated on her show, "But what is racist? Because truly, you do get in trouble if you are a white person who puts on blackface at Halloween or a black person who puts on whiteface for Halloween. Back when I was a kid, that was okay as long as you were dressing up as like a character."
Kelly made a tearful apology on her show the following day, but that didn't stop the backlash that followed. NBC announced on Thursday that all episodes of the show that would be airing are pre-taped.
An official statement has yet to be made by the network.
