Update: Yella Beezy survived an attempt on his life earlier this month, and he was lucky enough to celebrate his 27th birthday alongside his friends and family this week. The Texas rapper shared a video of his loved ones singing him "Happy Birthday."

Update: Texas rapper Yella Beezy is still recovering from being shot over the weekend, and despite his hardship, he was able to catch his set from the BET Hip Hop Awards on Tuesday (October 16) night. Video of Yella Beezy in the hospital showed him watching his performance while being tended to by nurses, who he informed he was on tv.

Previously, news surfaced noting Yella Beezy was shot multiple times while on a Texas highway. Now, the rapper has been confirmed to be in stable condition after the traumatic event.

According to a report, rapper Yella Beezy was shot more than a dozen times while he was on the highway last night.
Yella Beezy was reportedly found wounded State Highway 121 in Texas after police were called around 3:30 in the morning. Beezy was driving on the highway when another vehicle came up alongside the rapper and began to spray bullets at the side of his car according to police.
So far, police do not have a motive for the shooting.
