XXXTentacion was awarded Best New Artist at the 2018 BET Hip-Hop Awards but he won't be racking up any posthumous Grammys according to reports. X was deemed ineligible for the Best New Artists category for the upcoming 61st annual Grammy Awards ceremony. Paul Grein from Hits Daily Double broke the news stating that XXXTentacion was ruled ineligible because his debut album, 17, was released roughly five weeks before the start of eligibility for this year's cycle.
