For the novice Travis Scott fan, it may come as a surprise that the somewhat generic name of the artist isn't actually his real name. His government name is Jacques Berman Webster II but told Jimmy Fallon while appearing on The Tonight Show that he came up with the name as an homage to his uncle whose name is Travis and Kid Cudi whose first name is Scott. Travis called the two men his "superheroes."
