According to a report, a French rapper named Nick Conrad may be arrested and face jail time for putting out a song called “Hang The Whites.” The song finds him speaking about wanting to hang white babies and their parents. Because of that, the rapper has received much backlash online.
Conrad also released a video for the song, which finds a white man being tortured and shot by the rapper. As a result of posting the video, YouTube suspended his account for violating their terms of service.
Since then, an investigation was opened by the public prosecutor’s office where they’ll be taking a look at “public incitement to the commission of a crime or offense.” If Conrad is arrested and convicted, he could face up to five years in prison.
