Update: Kanye revealed that he's dropping Yandhi on Saturday, September 29, just two days after Tha Carter V, which he expects to come second to. He tweeted, "we’re releasing Yandhi Saturday night We know it will come in number 2 to my brother Lil Wayne and that’s lovely The universe needs Ye and Wayne music at the same time."

Kanye West teased fans Monday evening with album art eerily similar to the Yeezus cover art prompting speculation over a possible sequel. Ye just confirmed via IG that he will indeed be dropping another project this month. The album is entitled Yandhi, playing off of the name of Mahatma Gandhi, the Indian activist, and champion of nonviolent civil disobedience. Ye's new project is slated to drop September 29.

The talk around a potential sequel of Kanye's 10-track album Yeezus may be more imminent than most believed. As recent as last year, Cyhi The Prynce shared a screenshot of his Spotify profile which included a folder named "Yeezus 2." Fast forward to today, and Kanye West took to Instagram and Twitter to share the presumed album art of the speculated follow-up.

However, in Kanye West fashion, the post included no caption. The CD, reminiscent of the original Yeezus album, features the number "80" with a purple strip of tape instead of the red strip on the first album.
