According to TMZ, Mac Miller was dead for hours before his body was discovered on Friday (September 7) morning. Police are currently looking into a party that took place at Miller's house on Thursday night, adding that no one has come forward to say they saw him alive past the night of the party.
Law enforcement sources say it was clear to paramedics that Mac was dead long before they arrived. Someone in the home called 911 on Friday around noon and the call came in as a "cardiac arrest," as it seems that the person who found him didn't realize that he was already dead.
A tiny amount of white powder was found at Miller's house, and police believe that the place was wiped clean before they arrived. A toxicology test is currently being conducted to reveal his cause of death, which takes about 4 to 6 weeks.
