Footage surfaced of Russ and his crew beating up Smokepurpp at the Splash Festival in Germany earlier this year, and it seems their beef stemmed from a tweet.
Russ grabbed attention late last year with a tweet that read, "Abusing xanax and other pills drugs etc in private cuz your depressed/other mental issues is one thing(still not good)..constantly recording yourself doing drugs and putting up pics and videos of doing it is when you start CHOOSING to publicly glorify it and make it an image."
Smokepurpp responded, writing, "Shut the f*** up u a b***," and he pushed things further by using a photo of Russ' sister as his Instagram avi.
