New footage has surfaced from the officer-involved shooting outside Del Mar Fairgrounds in San Diego, CA just before Ice Cube was scheduled to perform. From the video, the armed man, identified as 22-year-old Daniel Elizarraras can be seen pointing his gun in the air before firing off two shots. The officer on scene then returns 4 rounds before the man hits the ground.

Ice Cube was scheduled to perform at the next-to-last day of the 2018 racing season at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in San Diego on Sunday (September 3), and a shooting took place at the box office.
According to reports, 22-year-old Daniel Elizarraras attempted to purchase a ticket but was told that it was sold out. After an argument ensued, Elizarraras pulled out a silver plated semi-automatic handgun and reportedly fired three shots in the air.
Sheriff's deputies responded by returning fire, hitting Elizarraras multiple times in the torso and arm. He was taken to a local hospital where he is expected to survive his injuries.
