A woman named Jennifer Schulte who called the police on a group of black people in Oakland for having a BBQ ultimately became known as ‘BBQ Becky’ after a video of her making the call went viral. Now, the full audio of the phone call to 911 has released and finds her not wanting to say her race when asked.
The woman called the dispatcher who tried to get some information about her, including if she lived in the park or if she had any mental illness. Along with that, they asked her what was race she was, which caused her to snap back with “My race doesn’t matter!” Eventually, Schulte would reveal her race and other information. Watch above.
