Update: The man responsible for the shooting at the Madden Live NFL tournament was a 24-year-old man named David Katz from Baltimore, Maryland. According to witnesses, Katz was very upset after getting eliminated from the tournament, which caused him to pull out a gun and start shooting. After shooting multiple people, Katz died from shooting himself.

A video that surfaced from a Madden NFL Live Stream Tournament in Jacksonville, Florida shows the situation going pretty terrible as a mass shooting took place while players were actively gaming.

The Jacksonville sheriff’s office immediately took to Twitter to say “Mass shooting at the Jacksonville Landing. Stay far away from the area. The area is not safe at this time. STAY AWAY #TheLandingMassShooting.”

In the video, two gamers can be seen playing out their match in Madden but were distracted by what appeared to be a loud noise. The noises kept happening, and their live stream screen went blank because the shooter kept continuing to fire.

So far, CNN has reported that four people are dead and that 11 have been shot.
