Al Sharpton had a problem remembering how to spell the word "respect" while quoting Aretha Franklin during a segment where he went at Donald Trump. Sharpton was addressing 45 about his "dog" comments aimed at Omarosa stating, "I think you might’ve learned the lesson this week, sometimes the dog bites back with a book deal," adding that the remark was "an animalistic slur." Sharpton continues, "So in the words of my late friend Aretha Franklin, show some R-E-S-P-I-C-T, and the next time you get a black woman and a beagle confused, remember this: I got you."
