Houston Sauce Walka is known for his unique style of rapping along with his appearance. However, he and his team have been hit with accusations of being known for much more, specifically regarding crime. Now, the rapper has taken to the news to clear up the accusations against him and The Sauce Factory.

Sauce Walka spoke to NBC 2 News in Houston and immediately proceeded to lay out what he and his team are about. “I'm a CEO of a record label; we drop albums, I got seven artists.” He went on to say “We're a prestigious record label of young men that give out inspiration and leadership to a lot of young people in Houston and all over Texas.”

When asked by the news why the police think The Sauce Factory is more of a gang than a record label, Walka said “Honestly, I don't know why. I don't know if it’s a misunderstanding from the videos or something, just a misunderstanding from the past, whatever they perceive that is.”

Sauce Walka made it clear that he and his team were being lied on, saying “Every celebrity has lies, and made-up stories and folk tales made up about them. They say if you can't stand the heat, then get out the kitchen. If you're not ready for people to lie on you and make up things because you are a celebrity, then that means you shouldn't be a celebrity.”
