Update: Demi Lovato's overdose was reportedly a result of Fentanyl-laced Oxycodone, according to TMZ. The report states that Lovato called a drug dealer, who came to her house and freebased the Oxycodone on tin foil. The dealer reportedly fled her house when he saw her breathing heavily in her bed. She was found by her staff at 11:30 am the following morning and was rushed to the hospital via ambulance, and remained there for two weeks before leaving for a rehab facility.


Demi Lovato is still reportedly in the hospital six days after a reported overdose in her home. According to a report, the singer experienced complications due to the overdose, which is why she is still hospitalized.

According to sources that spoke to TMZ, Lovato is “suffering extreme nausea and a high fever, among other things.” One source that spoke to TMZ said: “She is under the care of medical experts and is expected to make a full recovery." It is still unknown what drugs she took, but EMTs noted it was a type of opioid.
