EPMD recently stopped by 93.5 KDAY to speak with Noah Ayala, and the subject of music streaming came up and Erick Sermon explained how exactly its changed the game.

He explained that during the height of Universal Music, they made $985 million off of approximately 75 groups. Today, he says the same label made $1.5 billion off of 5 groups because of streaming. One of their biggest artists is Drake, who Erick says is majorly profiting off of the streaming game. He said 1 million streams is about $8,000 dollars, and Erick pointed out that Drake is doing billions of streams.
