According to The Blast, the Manhattan’s D.A. Office is pushing for 1-3 years behind bars for Tekashi 6ix9ine after they claim he broke an agreement in his plea deal in his sexual misconduct case. Tekashi pled guilty to one count of Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance in exchange for a no jail sentence, which was challenged on Thursday (August 9).

The Brooklyn rapper appeared in court on Thursday, where he was expected to be sentenced to 3 years of probation. Instead, prosecutor Sara Weiss asked the judge for the deal to be taken off the table due to his recent arrests. In addition, the D.A. wants him to register as a sex offender.

Tekashi's legal team asked for time to respond to the prosecution's allegations, and the judge ordered Tekashi back in court on October 2, where he will be sentenced.

More details to come.
