Conor McGregor has dodged a potential career knockout blow after landing a plea deal that will see him avoid jail time and deportation for his crazed UFC bus attack back in April. McGregor was targeting Khabib Nurmagomedov but ended up injuring three other fighters instead of Nurmagomedov.

McGregor was charged with felony criminal mischief and three counts of misdemeanor assault. The charges carried a potential 7-year jail sentence. With the plea deal, Conor will most likely see probation. According to TMZ, the deal hasn't yet been finalized but that the two sides are down to the "final points" of negotiations. McGregor is due back in court on Thursday.
