Azealia Banks claims she was disrespected by the cast and crew of Wild 'N Out. Banks wrote a lengthy caption on Instagram detailing her experience on the show.
A snippet from her caption reads:
"I did Wildin’ out today. There were tons of pre-planned colorist jokes and of course .... cry baby cried. Some little scrawny black Atlanta twink was prepared for me. They planned this - hit me on short notice, told me I didn’t have to participate in the coon ass freestyle battles ,(not my style) and I was to sing my song and go home."
Banks took it a step further and mentioned the show's creator Nick Cannon on Instagram Stories. She compared her alleged mistreatment to a hypothetical scenario involving Cannon. Banks rhetorically asked fans/followers if possibly making fun of Cannon's lupus would make her a bad person.
