BET is debuting an original documentary called Vixen, which tells the story of former video models. Melyssa Ford, Buffie the Body, Karrine Steffans and more are featured in the documentary.
The ladies expressed that they made a lot of money back then, and that appearing in videos attributed to their lifestyle. Of course, the music industry has changed since that particular rap era. The OG video vixens also discussed the shift in hip hop as a result of declining physical album sales, music piracy, and budget cuts.
