According to Bossip, Fabolous will not see any jail time for his alleged assault on his baby mama, Emily Bustamante, earlier this year. The rapper appeared in Bergen County Superior Court in New Jersey on Thursday (June 28), where his lawyer revealed that Fabolous will be taking a “pre-trial intervention” deal.

The deal will allow Fab to plead guilty to a likely lesser charge and be enrolled in a diversion program for first-time offenders, which can last anywhere from six months to a few years. After successfully completing the program, Fab's record will be wiped clean.

Earlier this year, Emily claimed that Fabolous threatened to kill her and hit her several times in the face. She claimed her injuries were so severe that she had to have two of her teeth medically removed. Fabolous was charged with aggravated assault on a domestic violence victim and making terroristic threats.

The two, who share two sons together, have since reconciled and have posted photos together online. Emily also joined Fabolous to one of his court dates earlier this year and asked the judge to remove a restraining order against him.
