Dedrick Devonshay Williams, the suspect who is accused of driving the SUV that blocked in XXXTentacion during the armed robbery that led to his death, and the 22-year-old pleaded not guilty to the charges this week. Williams, who was charged with first-degree murder in the case, is one of three suspects in the case; the other two suspects are being sought by federal investigators and U.S. Marshals.

Williams' lawyer, Mauricio Padilla, spoke on the not guilty plea, stating, "I plead him not guilty and my client maintains his innocence. It's difficult when you're dealing with media cases because as you know they take a life of their own nowadays with social media. But we're really focused on trying this case in a court of law and not in the court of public opinion."

A public memorial was held for XXXTentacion at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, FL on Wednesday, with an open casket viewing. You can check out coverage of the event here.
