Keri Hilson Tweets Alarming HIV Statistics in GA for Awareness Initiative

Keri Hilson is lending her voice and celebrity to an HIV awareness cause in Atlanta and decided to post a few statistics in order to give followers a full understanding of the issue at hand. She tweeted:

DID YOU KNOW...Georgia leads the United States in HIV rates for adults & adolescents? According to a report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in 2016, Georgia was the only state with an HIV rate for adults/adolescents higher than 30.

Georgia was named a high-risk zone for HIV just as recent as last year making this initiative something much needed.
