NYPD are calling one of the two men seen following Chief Keef around New York prior to him being shot at, a "known associate" of Tekashi 6ix9ine whose name has not been released. The men reportedly followed the "Love Sosa" rapper from a downtown Manhattan restaurant to the W Hotel, where they fired at Keef, but missed.
According to TMZ, NYPD is looking into Tekashi's ties with one of the men following a very public back and forth between the two rappers prior to the shooting. Tekashi has denied any involvement in the shooting, and he downplayed the beef between him and Keef.
