In the light of the outstanding number of sexual misconduct and sexual assault allegations against men in power and male celebrities, the #MeToo movement has started getting some serious opposition. Most recently rapper Bow Wow took a stand to defend Morgan Freeman and Jamie Foxx.
"Every week is somebody new," said Bow Wow in the video he posted on Instagram on Wednesday."They hire the same f***in' woman to represent them. It's the same story. Every week, it's somebody new." he said, "Y'all makin' it bad for women that's really out here getting touched and abused by mothaf***as. 'Cause ain't nobody going to be believin' them."
"The same woman" that Bow Wow is referring to is Lisa Bloom who is an American civil rights attorney known for representing a vast majority of women in sexual harassment cases.
He added, "I was going to let this s*** slide. After Morgan Freeman, I said 'get the f***k outta here.' Now, Jamie... get the f*** outta here." He then went on telling the women, "A lot of y'all women need to get up off your mothaf***in' ass and get a job man. Go get a f***in' job. Stop trying to use celebrities as a scapegoat. Cut that s*** out. Nobody believe you."
