Contrary to what many might have assumed after her Instagram and YouTube pages were wiped clean last week, Lil Tay's disappearance from social media will not be an indefinite one. Those who've been behind the creation of the 9-year-old viral star's content are currently in the process of reinventing her image.

According to Tay's former manager and creative consultant, Alex Gelbard, a plan is currently in the works to ensure that the self-proclaimed "youngest flexer" returns to her popular platforms having shed some of the antics that have drawn widespread criticism and whispers of child abuse and exploitation. Gelbard is confident that fans will soon see how the Canadian come-up's temporary hiatus proves to be a positive one that foreshadows better days to come.

"I mean, Tay's a super talented girl. She's gonna come back with something unique. It's definitely gonna be different than what you saw before," Gelbard told TMZ on Tuesday, June 12. "Whatever she's working on, you know, she got a bright future."

Gelbard's update lends confirmation to what Tay's brother and coach, Jason, proclaimed when after she suddenly went MIA he tweeted: "Don’t worry! Me and my sister and going to change up our whole image for the better! We boutta come back stronger then ever."
