Drake is ready to put the recent beef with Pusha T behind him. The Canadian rapper spent the last few weeks embroiled in drama with the G.O.O.D. Music president, and the two traded bars before Pusha unleashed the scorching diss record, "The Story of Adidon." Drizzy has seemingly given up on the feud, for now, and has returned to album promotion mode.
Drake has been teasing the arrival of his latest album Scorpion online for a few weeks, and now fans finally have a release date for the project. Taking to Instagram, Drake posted a picture of the CD cover for Scorpion along with the caption, "JUNE 29 2018 🦂." The album art is simply a portrait shot of Drake in black and white. He has released three singles for the project, “God’s Plan,” “Nice for What,” and “I’m Upset,” so far. The latter received a new music video this week.
Although fans now have a release date for the album, there has been no word on the tracklist. Expect Scorpion to have several features, like most of Drake's projects. 40 handled most of the production on the album, as usual, but Drake has teased collaborations with other producers, most notably DJ Premier.
