For weeks, Tekashi 6ix9ine has been openly pondering the possibility of popping up in Chicago, and by the looks of it, he's kept his word in making it happen.

Not only has the Day69 rapper come through to show love to The Windy City, he's made it a point to give back to the needy while he was there.

In a video that the "Tati" rapper posted to his Instagram page shortly after noontime, on Tuesday (June 12), 6ix9ine is shown exiting a grocery store with a box in his arms. The visual would wind up being one of several recordings he'd go on to post up on social media - but unlike some of those that followed, Tekashi's first interaction with followers gave many the sense that he could be as connected with the people of the Chi as any native rapper can.

"You know what I'm saying, we in f**king Chicago. You know what I'm saying, we're going to feed the homeless or whatever. Know what I'm saying?" 6ix9ine proclaims during a clip that was filmed as him and his team were headed to an overpass under which some homeless city dwellers slept. "I've got 15 burgers here. Giving back to the community, because you know, these other Chicago rappers don't give back," he'd then say, before handing the food out.
