XXL's Freshman List is a coveted list for many aspiring new artists to get on. In the past, artists like Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Big KRIT, Lil Uzi Vert, and more were featured. Now, the publication has dropped the 2018 list.
The 2018 iteration of the list features the likes of Lil Pump, Ski Mask the Slump God, J.I.D. Stefflon Don, Blocboy JB, Trippie Redd, Wifisfuneral, YBN Nahmir, and Lil Skies.
According to XXL, Lil Skies was selected for the 10th Freshman List spot but was not featured on the cover after he reportedly refused to attend the cover shoot.
