Hot 97 welcomed Toronto's own, Tory Lanez, as one of the bigger acts billed to perform at the 25th annual Summer Jam concert on Sunday (June 10). The 25-year-old rap crooner was extremely happy to make it after having a travel scare.

Prior to his arrival at the 82,500 seat East Rutherford venue, Tory posted to his Instagram story from inside of the small jet that he flew into town on. In the recording, a half dozen members of his team are seen strapped into their seats around him. And, dangling from above the aisle dividing them were oxygen masks that had been dispensed during a bout of turbulence that the "LUV" singer went on to describe in terrifying detail.

“Just so you know, this is how we’re getting to Summer Jam my n****, plane almost crashed five times,” Tory told his followers. “S*** was going down, nosedived, dropped 26,000 feet in a minute and a half. Really take that in.”

Thankfully, the plane would land safely and in time for him to show up and rock the house and live to tell about it.
