Tekashi 6ix9ine's beef with Trippie Redd may have faded from the public eye in recent weeks, but it has still gone unresolved and will likely remain so unless they can agree to shoot a fair one that'll put all of the drama behind them. Now the idea of a celebrity boxing match involving the rap rivals has begun to float around.
Trippie has said on multiple occasions that a good scrap is all he wants out of his former collaborator, and 6ix9ine admits he recently came around to pondering how much he'd make if fans came out of pocket to watch them duke it out. During a chat with DJ Akademiks, the Brooklyn rapper was asked whether he might consider joining up with YouTuber Jake Paul to broadcast such an event on the internet. Ak projected that a Tekashi vs Trippie match would generate around 2 million live streams. In his response, Tekashi revealed that it has crossed his mind, but said he'd be willing to take it a step further. (34:10)
"I could hit up Floyd 'Money' Mayweather Promotions, right, and say I want to fight Trippie Redd on the next thing - even if its an opening fight," 6ix9ine said after confirming that he indeed has toyed with the notion of turning a rap beef into a Pay Per View fight.
"And I bet you I'll rake in four million dollars, the least, on that one fight," he said.
