50 Cent is one of the most famous internet trolls around. He uses his social media to repost hilarious memes and videos, and sometimes the G-Unit creator bullies and debates his peers. Over the last few months, 50 has taken a liking to a new catchphrase, "Get the Strap."

He uses it in every post, whether it be himself alone or a post taking aim at someone else. 50 used his new catchphrase on a post concerning NYPD Inspector Emmanuel Gonzalez, and now he is under investigation by police.

The investigation seeks to prove that 50 threatened the police officer, while 50 is claiming that it was all just a misunderstanding. According to The Blast, 50 Cent's rep stated, “Taken in its proper context, the specific post in question was neither intended as, nor could reasonably be interpreted as a threat or call to violence against anyone.”

50 recently filed a trademark for the catchphrase, and he plans to put it on merchandise and apparel. 50's rep continued on to state that "get the strap" is a, "slogan he has been posting across all of his social media platforms. It is posted in connection with photographs and videos, including many featuring just him or things he is promoting.”
