Recently at a Kendrick Lamar's concert in Alabama, Kendrick Lamar corrected a woman on stage for saying the n-word. The rapper invited the woman, who identified herself only as "Delaney," to sing "M.A.A.D City" during his set at the Hangout Festival in Alabama.

After repeatedly using the n-word, Kendrick had to stop her. As the crowd reacted angrily, Lamar told her: "You gotta bleep one single word."

It seemed that she did not even realize what a horrible mistake she had made, but eventually she apologized.

DJ and Producer Steve Aoki agreed with the award-winning rapper "for his 'polite' gathering of the young woman after dropping the n-word on stage."

Aoki told TMZ, "You can't say that word, you just can't do it, man. I saw the video and Kendrick was polite about it. I'm with Kendrick 100 percent."

"Every person can say what they want, there's freedom of speech, but you have a responsibility," South London grime artist Yizzy told BBC News.

Whether you live in the USA or UK, you have to be aware of the cultural and historical implications of using the n-word. No excuses. Period.
