The Air Jordan IV has surpassed the popularity of being a sneaker grail for hardcore sneakerheads alone and has become a recognizable silhouette to even just casual footwear enthusiasts.

And with next year being a commemorative time for Mike's fourth signature sneaker, we can expect Jordan Brand to re-release the classics and more with original Nike AIR branding at the heel of the highly sought after sneaker.

With that said, the return of the 'Military Blue' Air Jordan IV that made its first appearance on the retail market in 1989 will be making a comeback for the AJ IV 30th year anniversary taking place in 2019. This particular sneaker is somewhat rare being that it's only been retroed twice since it's original release, once in 2006, and it's most recent re-release in 2012 in celebration of the 23rd anniversary of the AJ IV.

The Air Jordan IV 'Military Blue' features a white tumbled leather base complete with 'Military Blue' accents that hit the tongue lining, embroidered Jumpman logo placed at the tongue, the webbed shoelace eyelets, the paneling behind the synthetic netting, the heel panel where the debossed Nike AIR branding sits, and midsole. The kicks are then closed out with a 'Neutral Grey' rubber outsole.

A concrete release date has yet to be set for the 'Military Blue' AJ IV but we'll most likely see the kicks hit retailers in the first quarter of next year for a pricing point of $220 a pop. With that said, check out the 2012 rendering of the kicks provided by johnreeper916 in the images above and let us know if these joints will make your must cop list in the comments.
