At times, it's hard to believe that some of our favorite athletes have common fears that ordinary people suffer from especially with their ability to perform at a high-level night-in and night-out in front of potentially millions of viewers/fans. And it looks like, 7-foot center of the Philadelphia 76ers in Joel Embiid has a fear that many would consider laughable. Apparently, Embiid can't swim at all.

After having his NBA Finals dreams cut short by the Boston Celtics, it looks like Joel is attempting to live his best life by trying out a new experience most of us encounter at the age of five.

In a plethora of clips posted on social media, Embiid can be seen walking into a slow current, lazy river pool. A man to the left of the potential Hall-of-Famer attempts to push Embiid into the pool but the two end up in a friendly tussle that allows Embiid to reframe from fully entering the water.

In the next clip, Embiid attempts to enter a waterslide but chickens out at the last second. In the last clip, the 7-foot Embiid can be seen in a Child-esque water jungle gym approaching a much smaller waterslide to close out the video.
