A Liverpool teen died after trying to hide drugs in her car.

Georgia Cassidy hit the road with her boyfriend when they were pulled over by police for a random stop. The 19-year-old took the opportunity before an officer approached her car to hide a bag of cocaine in her mouth, according to reports.

Once the couple was cleared of any suspicion, they were allowed to carry on with their day. However, things took an unexpected turn when the Kirby beautician suffered a seizure later in the day. Being rushed to Aintree Hospital wasn't enough, and she died days later.

Though Coroner André Rebello noted there was "no suggestion that she had any connection with drugs," her death was due to cocaine toxicity.

Rebello went on to describe the young lady as "popular" and "very loved." He also blames the career choice of drug dealers for being the reason behind the loss of so many innocent lives.

"They earn an awful lot of money out of the upset and destruction, and chaos caused to families like Georgia’s.”

As far as finding someone responsible for the accidental death, Merseyside Police arrested an unidentified man on "suspicion of supplying a controlled drug," according to Liverpool Echo.
