Some of the streets' most reputable artists have taken to social media to commend Tekashi 6ix9ine and Casanova 2X for putting an end to their months-long feud over the weekend. One of the more heartfelt statements came from Meek Mill, who spoke on just how real it was for the rival Brooklynites to come together.

"Having a conversation is a part of being thorough. Never forget that!" wrote Meek. "Kill all that us on us s**t! #Brooklyn."

News of 6ix9ine and Cas squashing their issues comes weeks after their quarrels reached a boiling point with gunshots that rang out at the Barclay's Center being tied to their two crews just hours after a Casanova video shoot got riddled with bullets.

Meek imparted his wisdom in the caption of an image that he reposted from Fat Joe's page on Saturday, May 19. Cas and 6ix9ine are seen posted up together the moment they publicly made amends just one day prior. Interestingly enough, 50 Cent happened to share the exact same picture that Joe did in acknowledgment of the stand-up act. The timing can be said to be somewhat symbolic considering Fiddy and Joe carried one of the city's most storied beefs for years, before making peace in the late Chris Lighty's name.

There is also something to be said for Meek delivering such a message in a time when he's being universally recognized as a transformational figure in the culture.
