Comedians just can't promote shows in peace anymore.

Something must have Ice Cube on edge because he got a great scare after browsing through Twitter. The rapper stumbled upon a post made by his Next Friday and All About the Benjamins co-star that had a professional headshot of Mike Epps with the dates "5/18-5/20" on it.

Now in most cases, readers would have seen the words before the dates saying, "Coming for y'all #BellevueWA." But this time, Cube's mind went straight to the worst and mistook the show announcement for a death announcement.

Showing no shame and much relief, Ice Cube retweeted the post replying, "This pic scared the hell out of me. Never put a date on your pics. Thought you died boy!"

We're all grateful that everyone is in one piece. Especially since we were just given a peek into their upcoming Friday reboot! Yes, Craig and Day-Day have plans to rejoin each other on the silver screen for Last Friday along with John Witherspoon's character Mr. Jones. Epps also spilled that the debut can be expected this summer with a picture of the gang on set.

In the meantime, Cube is continuing to fill our hip-hop and comedy needs as the executive producer of Hip-Hop Squares.
