There's no denying that Peter Rosenberg is a relevant personality in the hip-hop realm and he has had moments where he's pushed the culture in a positive direction but, at times, he's rubbed the general public and his peers the wrong way just like any other member in the hip-hop community has over time.

Recently, Peter Rosenberg had guests, Nick Cannon and Bhad Bhabie, on his Complex online show, Open Late with Peter Rosenberg. Unfortunately, his choice of bringing the viral moment social media 'star' turned rapper didn't sit well with a lot of hip-hop purists and fans including his Hot 97 colleague Funk Master Flex, so the DJ took to the airwaves to express his disapproval of Peter's promotion of the young artists.

Flex started off his nearly 15-minute rant with the following statement, "And when Father's Day comes around this year, you should make sure you send me a Father's Day card because you are my son."

The legendary New York DJ then went on to break down his history as a pioneer of the classic Tunnel hip-hop venue as well as list his personal accolades, claim he built this culture, and even dragged Rosenberg's dog, Bear, into the argument before going into full-on Ultimate Warrior mode stating that Peter Rosenberg doesn't show up for his own Sunday night Hot 97 show and saying he lost respect for him.

Flex also called himself 'Mr. Chimney' and stated that if any DJs or hip-hop media personalities want smoke with him, then bring it then proceeded to call Rosenberg's Complex show trash.

There's a possibility that Funk Master Flex could be trolling for ratings but this could definitely make things tense in the Hot 97 studios. Come Monday morning, we're sure Peter Rosenberg and the Ebro in the Morning hosts will add their two cents to Flex's comments while on-air. Until then, check out Flex's Peter Rosenberg rant and drop your thoughts on it in the comments.
