Cuban Doll has come around to speaking openly about some of the fears and pressures she's held in as a battered woman, following the alleged beating she suffered at the hands of Glo Gang rapper Tadoe. She has also been candid in exposing the predicament she finds herself in for exercising free will; revealing to followers that her life may be in danger.
"It's money on my head. Umm, okay," Cuban tweeted from Honolulu, Hawaii on Monday, May 7.
Following her visit to a hospital for the treatment of injuries she sustained to her face in an attack she says Tadoe waged against her, Cuban Doll linked up with Tekashi 6ix9ine and headed out into the Pacific to celebrate his 22nd birthday with him. Thus, for the past couple of days, much of her social media activity has consisted of photos and videos of her living it up in the U.S.'s 50th state.
But the Aaliyah Keef rapper made it a point to settle down so that she could speak her piece on the situation with her Chi-Town boyfriend, and to provide some background on what led to the situation. She wrote an emotional piece that shed light for the public but was also directed specifically towards women who like her, may find themselves caught up in an abusive relationship.
Her message read as follows:
"I've been scared to speak out on this situation but I refuse to continue to hurt in silence. This isn't the first or second or third time that this has happened to me. It has been happening for awhile and i never spoke about it publicly because I never want people to think I'm weak. This is happening to other girls my age, publicly and I see them getting made fun of on social media when really they need help. Its scary to be vulnerable. Social media is mean. But now I don't have a choice. I know I'm not alone and there are other women that can relate to this, who are also afraid to speak out. No matter the circumstances, a man should NEVER hit a woman. I've decided to speak up today because I know I have a lot of young women looking up to me and I have to be a leader."
