Even though Hollywood's current roster of A-Listers might not be paid as much as those of the '90's, by no means are they starving.
Variety has just relelased the salaries of Tinseltown's biggest names, and they may or may not surprise you. A small sample of recent paydays puts Daniel Craig at the top of the list. He will rake in $25 million for his starring role in 2019's Bond 25. Right behind him is Dwayne Johnson, a.k.a The Rock, who nabbed 3 million less for his role in 2020's Red Notice. Vin Diesel is next, commanding $20 mill for last year's The Fate of The Furious.
The highest paid woman on this list is Anne Hathaway, who comes in at number four. She earned $15 million for her role in Barbie, set for release in 2020. Rounding out the top 5 is Jennifer Lawrence, who got the same bag for Red Sparrow.
Kevin Hart sits at number 12, making $10 million for 2017's Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Michael B. Jordan is the only other African American in the top 20. He comes in at #19 and will earn $3-4 million for Creed 2.
Nowadays, Variety explained that those fatter paychecks are usually tied to stars of a franchise like Star Wars.
Are you surprised about who did (or didn't) make the list?
