Peter Rosenberg of New York's Hot97 and ESPN has officially joined the Complex team with his very own YouTube series entitled, Open Late alongside araabMUSIK.

On the last episode posted this past Thursday, he had guests including the prestigious writer, Lena Waithe, who's taken the entertainment industry by storm with her own television drama series, The Chi, as well as participating on the major Netflix show, Master of None alongside Aziz Ansari. Royce da 5'9" also stopped by to preview his latest album, Book of Ryan, and panel guests Styles P of The Lox, Mouse Jones, and MC Paul Barman stopped by to dish their opinions on recent topics within the culture.

The entire episode flows nicely but the real hot take came directly from Styles P in regards to where he ranks J. Cole within the competitive hip-hop realm. While discussing Cole's latest album offering the group, Styles cut off Rosenberg while he listed his current hip-hop elite and stated the following, "You gotta stop going with your own tier of where somebody's at because they're your favorite. F****n, J. Cole is right next to Kendrick, no disrespect."

Styles then went on to speak about J. Cole's content and how some hip-hop enthusiasts label him as boring, then went on to stan for the Roc Nation artist and give him his just recognition. The debate then begins to get more heated but the panel eventually agreed to disagree.
