Meek Mill has barely been out of jail for two weeks, but he has been quick to start a movement against the corrupt justice system that landed him behind bars. While Mill is no angel, he is far from a felon. He was arrested back in 2008 by a police officer who only recently was discovered to by dirty, and had locked up minorities under false pretenses in the past. The discovery was enough to get Mill out of prison, although he is not out of the woods.

Meek, looking dapper in a navy blue suit, spoke to the public alongside Pennsylvania officials on Thursday, and revealed that he is joining the battle to help clean up the justice system. "I would like to use this time to speak on my situation, because I actually know the errors of the criminal justice system personally, because I been tangled in the system since 18 years old," Meek began.

"I feel like everything happens for a reason and everything I went through was terrible," he continues before thanking Pennsylvania Governor Wolf for backing him in his struggle and being released from jail. Meek and Jay-Z have also announced a docu-series that will air on Amazon that chronicles the corruption in the justice system.
