A Minnesota woman clearly unequipped to handle rejection was arrested and charged with assault after allegedly breaking into the home and attacking a man she recently began dating.
St. Cloud woman Katrina Tiffani Dornfeld reportedly broke into the man's home on Thursday. According to the victim, he sent her a text the day before informing her she was no longer welcome at his home.
The man claims the two had only been dating for six weeks when the assault occurred.
Events began early Thursday morning when cops responded to a burglary call at the home. Upon arriving, they discovered a window in the front door had been busted out and the deadbolt unlocked. Three televisions had apparently been stolen.
Later, police were called by the man again, who said he awoke to find Dornfeld standing in his room. The man said she was not invited nor did she have a key to the home.
Upon confronting her, the man told Dornfeld to leave several times and took a photo of her with his cell phone. The woman then allegedly attacked the man, slapping him across the face and clawing him with her fingernails.
Police returned to the home and found Dornfeld, who admitted she didn't have permission to be there.
Dornfeld was charged with 1st-degree burglary assault, and two misdemeanor counts of domestic assault.
