It looks like Floyd Mayweather Jr. plans on adapting an asymmetrical approach to how he takes on his ex-girlfriend, Shantel Jackson, when the assault trial that he is facing for allegedly getting violent with her in 2014 commences next year. According to an indictment, Mayweather plans on going all-in on his former girl, even if it means first going through her current boyfriend Nelly and Nelly's ex-girlfriend, Ashanti.

In a paperwork filed in court last week, Mayweather names Nelly and Ashanti, as who he wants to come before a judge in January of 2019. The reason why the TMT honcho might care to depose the two remains a mystery to fans and members of the press with access to the celebs. However, there is a theory going around that implies Mayweather is pushing for the deposition in order to pressure Jackson to back out of the case.

Jackson and Mayweather both took legal action against one another four years ago. After she filed suit for assault and battery, defamation, and invasion of privacy, Mayweather fired back at the time by charging her with taking money behind his back.
