DJ Akademiks claims to have some names that will appear on the XXL Freshman list, and he listed 8 names on Tuesday (April 24).
He wrote, "Aye .. s/o to all the rappers who made it on the 2018 cover. They did the shoot yesterday. Also to the rappers who still waiting to see if they made it ... u didn’t. Better luck next year. S/o YBN Nahmir, JID, trippie, Rich the kid, lil pump, Smokepurpp, blocboy jb, steff london etc. Can’t wait to see y’all freestyles."
