Chikesia Clemons and her friend Canita Adams entered a Waffle House in Saraland, Alabama, and ordered their food. The ladies asked for plastic silverware, and the employee working stated that it would cost 50 cents. Clemons replied that she never had to pay for silverware at that same location before, and was given free silverware just the night before. She asked for the Waffle House district manager's contact info, at which point the employee canceled the order and contacted the police.

Cell phone footage taken by Adams shows police after they entered the Waffle House and attempted to arrest Clemons. After refusing to leave, because she did nothing wrong, the police throw Clemons to the ground and struggle with her as she asks why she's being arrested amidst cries of "what are you doing?"

"I'll break your arm, that's what I'm about to do," responds the officer, who is accompanied by two other officers. They wrestle with Clemons as she continues to question the purpose of her arrest. During the struggle, her clothing falls down and her breast are exposed. Clemons was booked on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

"The Saraland Police Department is aware of the arrest at Waffle House and the accompanying video on social media," a statement from the police read after the video went viral. "The situation is being thoroughly reviewed and is under active investigation right now. Our department strives for transparency and we encourage our community to be aware of current events."
