Earlier this year, tensions rose between YBN Almighty Jay and Rich the Kid. While details on the situation were scarce when the story broke, Jay addressed the situation while recently speaking to DJ Akademiks.
The teen rapper explained that he asked Rich not to put out a song, but he released it anyway. Akademiks pointed out that Rich has his own label and doesn't have to wait for word from executives to release a track.
